Our ethos is to keep ingredients real and minimally processed - so our products will keep on looking and tasting wholesome like a chef made themselves. We make the bases; meal components, canape bases and sides such as Rosti, Veggie Patties, Hash Browns & Sticks, Polenta Chips, Falafels.

Our Story: Firstly - What's NEW for 2022 with Wild Chef? We are excited to launch our much-awaited FALAFEL STICKS (oven-ready, GF, DF, Vegetarian and Vegan Friendly) and just a tad milder than our current 25g round Mini Falafels. These join the rest of our fabulous STICK FAMILY and are super fun to include as a variety of Sticks in a bucket maybe? Or perfectly designed to wrap. OUR STORY ... It started with an idea of Jeremy's ... in which he found he often needed help and access to "quality" bases as support when he got too busy as a chef, working long long hours. At that time there was a continuing surge of skilled chefs moving overseas making it harder to find skilled chefs to help, together with the very start of a foodie movement with consumers and the beginnings of gluten-free requests. Here, the Wild Chef brand was born.

We started our Wild Chef journey from scratch over 17 years ago, co-incidentally as new parents! We had identified an opportunity to deliver something different - minimally processed and high-quality finger food and canape bases made from real wholesome ingredients. No additives or preservatives - just simple Chefs recipes. We produced products that looked and tasted as though they were made in-house - something that we have managed to maintain as we grow. With nothing else anywhere like it in the market back in 2003 - the Wild Chef brand has organically evolved over the years and we now also produce versatile larger meal components and sides that tick most of the dietary boxes.

The core of our business is around helping Chefs - essentially offering consistent quality bases that Chefs can add their own creativity to, whilst saving on prep time. By building relationships with Chefs & Owners, we have been able to keep innovating products around what they (their customers/consumers) are looking for in a changing market. We have evolved even further by creating new and exciting Serving Suggestions ideas through our food photography - to keep inspiring busy chefs and cooks alike who are looking for new ideas for their menus.

We have found that Wild Chef quickly evolved organically around the evolution and change in consumers dietary needs with the public becoming more conscious about what they were eating and where it was sourced.

We understood then, as we do today, that maintaining our everyday focus on Quality is vital, which is why we don’t compromise on quality, therefore a brand Chefs should be able to trust.

We love what we do, surrounding ourselves with amazing staff who we put our energies into growing them within our company. Their valued contributions help strengthen our company through continuous improvement whilst ensuring our ethos remains true to all.
